I was reluctant to say anything but since you keep insisting here is my review.
* Before purchasing the laptop, I had asked the sales rep how business had been affected via the lockdown. They had promised the same delivery time of 7-10 days and that everything was under control. I mentioned that I would be changing locations after the level 4 lockdown. I had indicated the date and he/she assured me that it would I arrive on time. 2 days after the promised delivery date, I made an enquiry to which
1. The agents on the WhatsApp chat decided to read and not respond to
2. I sent an email where the response gave me an excuse of "conditions of the lock-down have made this difficult
3. and to make matters worse, I was not informed of any delays, I was the one that had to make the follow up
*Long story short is that I had to wait stay in right up until the second last day of the level 4 grace period to receive my product 2 weeks later ( after more unread messages and excuses via email)
This would have not been a problem if the possibility of delays was explained before hand. Customer experience is crucial (I am somewhat a subject matter expert on this) and I did not feel you cared about that.
*The laptop was delivered with one slight problem, a high battery cycle count which basically meant that my battery was on the failing end. I notified them and they explained due to it being an old model, this could not be avoided.
However, if the performance was affected in a way which did not enable me to work then they would collect the laptop repair it free of charge (whether that happens or not based on my customer experience, we will wait and see)
*The laptop came with an original charger as promised and performs reasonably well given the age of the device.
