We offer free insured delivery anywhere in South Africa for free. We also deliver anywhere in the world for R500 extra. For local deliveries we have partnered with TheCourierGuy who has been our trusted courier partners for the lasts 4 years. Once we ship your device, you will get a email with the tracking number and the status of your delivery. You will get regular updates thereafter directly from TheCourierGuy. If you would like the device to be delivered on a specific day and time you can contact TheCourierGuy using your Tracking Number. Once you received your tracking you can usualy expect delivery within 2 business days to all major aread. Although we try our best to ensure delivery happens on time, please understand that this service is entirely outsourced to the courier company. Please contact them to ensure on time delivery.
Imported DevicesAll Imported devices are imported per order directly from the supplier. Delivery usually takes 10-15 business days but 20 business days should be allowed due to unforeseen circumstances. It is possible for a device to sell out after you have placed an order, in this case we will either refund you in full or provide you with alternative options. Contact us to confirm availablity and avoid dissapointment
New PurchasesAll new Products are covered by their respective manufatures warranty. Powerbite will take no responsiblity if your device is under warranty with the manufacturer. If your device is faulty wihin 7 days we will replace it as per the CPA.
Imported DevicesAll Imported devices unless stated otherwise are covered for 1 Year from date of delivery. This is a limited warranty and only covers factory faults. Peripherals are not covered under warranty unless purchased individually.
CPO DevicesIt is important to understand what is covered under warrarnty. Chargers and Peripherals are covered for 10 days only after delivery unless purchased Brand New. Batteries are not cover under warranty unless it is found to be defective within 3 months Powerbite does not take any liability for damage caused by physical damage In terms of the CPA any daamge to your device voids any and all warranties. If your device is faulty within 10 business days we will replace it. All our CPO Products are in acceptible condition. While its important to consider that you are purchasing a Used Device, we also allow you to return your device if its not in the preferred condition regarded we are notified within 12 hours of your device being delivered. If your warranty sticker is removed wihin 10 business days, you will void the warranty to return a faulty device for replacement as we will consider this device as being tempered with. I was reluctant to say anything but since you keep insisting here is my review.
* Before purchasing the laptop, I had asked the sales rep how business had been affected via the lockdown. They had promised the same delivery time of 7-10 days and that everything was under control. I mentioned that I would be changing locations after the level 4 lockdown. I had indicated the date and he/she assured me that it would I arrive on time. 2 days after the promised delivery date, I made an enquiry to which
1. The agents on the WhatsApp chat decided to read and not respond to
2. I sent an email where the response gave me an excuse of "conditions of the lock-down have made this difficult
3. and to make matters worse, I was not informed of any delays, I was the one that had to make the follow up
*Long story short is that I had to wait stay in right up until the second last day of the level 4 grace period to receive my product 2 weeks later ( after more unread messages and excuses via email)
This would have not been a problem if the possibility of delays was explained before hand. Customer experience is crucial (I am somewhat a subject matter expert on this) and I did not feel you cared about that.
*The laptop was delivered with one slight problem, a high battery cycle count which basically meant that my battery was on the failing end. I notified them and they explained due to it being an old model, this could not be avoided.
However, if the performance was affected in a way which did not enable me to work then they would collect the laptop repair it free of charge (whether that happens or not based on my customer experience, we will wait and see)
*The laptop came with an original charger as promised and performs reasonably well given the age of the device.
