The 2018 iPad Pro is Apple’s attempt at replacing the common user’s laptop with a touchscreen variant. This iPad Pro features an 11-inch touch-sensitive screen and some impressive specs comparable to ultrabooks in 2018. It features 4 or 6 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of flash storage based on Apples own flash storage chips. The device also comes with 2 cameras, a 7 megapixel one on the front and a 12 megapixel one on the back. All this is powered by the powerful 8 core A12X Apple processor. This iPad Pro is the first pro model to exclude the home button. Users have a choice of two colors when ordering, these being silver and Space Gray.
Storage & Memory
The iPad Pro comes with 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM depending on the amount of storage configured. 1 TB versions of the device will come equipped with 6 Gb of RAM. It also has versions that come with 64 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB of storage. Storage is provided by Apple’s line of flash storage chips.
Screen Size and Resolution
The iPad Pro has an 11 inch Liquid retina touch-sensitive display that supports a native resolution of 2388×1668 (264 ppi). The device features both a front 7 megapixel “FaceTime HD” camera and a rear 12 megapixel “iSight” camera.
OS & Processor
The iPad Pro comes with iOS 12.1 for its operating system and is powered by a custom Apple A12X Fusion processor.
The iPad Pro is equipped with a Lithium Polymer battery that supported up to 10 hours of surfing of the web on Wi-Fi, watching a video, or listening to music there is no official report on the amount of standby time that the battery could support.
